Consumer international debit card

1. What is a debit card?

- A debit card is a convenient means to settle payment like a credit card within your payment account balance, you can purchase goods/services and withdraw cash from an ATM machine.  

- When you purchase goods/services, the payment of the amount equivalent to goods/services is reserved from your payment account. When the transaction is received by SVB, your payment is automatically withdrawn by SVB.

 2. What can I do with a debit card?  

- You can purchase goods/services in international brand merchants in Vietnam and around the world.  

- When you have applied for ATM function, you can withdraw cash from the designated account using SVB ATMs and VISA ATMs.

- E-commerce transactions can be used using the service verified by VISA (VBV).

3. What types of cards are there?  

- A Visa Classic debit card can be issued.

4. What qualification is required for debit card issuance?  

- An SVB debit card can be issued, If you are an 18-year-old or older domestic resident or foreigner having a bank account at Shinhan Vietnam Bank and you meet SVB card issue criteria.

5. How I can apply for a card?  

- Visit the nearest SVB branch with member application form (Print out on the Internet or receive it by visiting a branch) and necessary documents and a photo (3x4) with you and apply for the card you wish to use.

- If you have no SVB account, you need to fill out an account application form first and open an SVB account.  

- The attached documents required for application are as follows:  

  • Member and residence confirmation documents: A copy of ID card, permanent residential book or a copy of KT3  

             ▪ For a foreigner, passport, visa, foreigner’s residence certificate

6. How can I receive the card for which I have applied?  

- When you applied for a card, you are notified of the result via SMS or telephone, after our screening procedure. When the card is issued, visit the branch with an ID card with you.  

- When you receive the card, after filling out a card receipt form by visiting the branch.

- Sign in the signature panel at the back of the card upon receipt of the card.

- Check card password written on the card holder, after receiving the card, and change the password using an SVB ATM machine or phone banking service.  

 7. How can I use the card?  

- After purchasing goods/services at a merchant, present your card, and check whether the transaction amount matches the amount on the transaction slip. And then, sign in the signature panel of the slip.  

- For cash withdrawal, enter your card password using an SVB ATM or international brand ATM.  

- The purchase of goods or services on the Internet using the service verified by VISA is possible.  

- When balance is insufficient in your payment account, you payment becomes delinquent, or if your card has expired, you cannot use your card.

8. How long is the card’s validity period?

-  Our debit card’s effective period is 5 years.

- When your card is about to be expiring, visit a branch carrying an ID card with you to extend your card and get reissued.  

9. How can I receive a card statement?  

- You can receive the card statement via mail or email, whichever you choose.

10. How much is the credit limit of the debit card?  

- There are maximum limits for purchase and cash withdrawal for a debit card. When you visit a branch and request to change the credit limits, they can be changed.  

- The purchase payment limit of a Classic debit card is 20 million VND per day. Cash withdrawal limit is 10 million VND per day, and 2 million VND per transaction. When you want to increase the purchase payment limit, you can increase up to 30 million VND per day, and cash withdrawal limit can increase up to 3 million VND per day.

11. How can I pay transaction amount?  

- If your transaction data is received by SVB, transaction amount will be automatically withdrawn from your payment account.

- In the case of a USD account, TT buying exchange rate on the purchase date on the slip applies.  

- When the actual transaction amount is not paid due to insufficient payment account balance, transaction amount including all fees and annual fee are withdrawn on the payment due date you have designated: 5th or 25th day of each month.  

- When you have transaction amount to pay on the payment due date, and if your payment account has insufficient balance, it will be processed as late payment. Late payment interest is charged from the payment due date to one day before the late payment amount settled date.

12. Where can I check Fee and Interest?  

- Fee and Interest is included in the information leaflet, when you receive your card, and also you can check in the Fee and Interest category on our homepage.

13. Is it possible to get issued a family member debit card?

- The family member debit card is issued to the primary member’s parents and children, based on the primary member’s credit. The card holders can purchase goods/services, along with withdrawing cash from ATM machines within the primary member’s payment account balance.

- The family member card can be issued to the primary member-designated family members aged over 16 (parents, spouse and children, etc.). Also, simultaneous issuance for the primary member and family members, and exclusive issue for family members are possible. You can apply for the card visiting the nearest branch by carrying primary member confirmation and family relations documents (residence certificate, KT3) with you.

- The amount used with the family card is paid from the primary member’s payment account.  

14. How much is the fee, when cash is withdrawn using an ATM machine?

- When you applied for a cash withdrawal function from an ATM, you can withdraw cash, after entering your password, within the payment account balance at an SVB ATM or VISA ATM machine.

- Cash withdrawal fee and balance inquiry fee from SVB ATM is exempted, but for cash withdrawal and balance inquiry from other bank’s ATM, fee is charged under the standards set forth by SVB.

15. How can I report my card’s being lost/stolen?  

- When your card is lost or stolen, immediately visit the nearest branch or use our phone banking or homepage, and report your card’s being lost/stolen.

- In the event you visited the nearest SVB branch, you need to fill out various report forms and submit them. When you use our  phone banking  or homepage, you need to log in by entering your SVB account number and password. After selecting your card, report your card’s being lost/stolen.  

- In the case of reporting your card’s being lost/stolen using  phone banking , you need to remember your card No. to select the card you possess.  

- Be sure to check whether there is data that you have never used, when reporting your card’s being lost/stolen. If you find such a transaction(s), you need to report the accident visiting a branch within 7 days.  

16. What is Shinhan Point Program?  

- When an SVB member uses a card, Shinhan points are accumulated, and they are returned in cash. This is a differentiated service of SVB. Through the SVB Point Program, you can get cash back equivalent to your accumulated points.  

- Points are accumulated under the standards set forth by SVB by card product, by use domestically and internationally, etc.

- Effective period of points is 3 years, and the points will expire from 3 years after accumulation in a first-in, first-out manner. When you give up your membership, the unused points will also expire.  

17. What can I do with the points?  

- The accumulated points are returned to you in cash, upon your request.

- The minimum amount to be qualified for cash back is 15,000 VND. Visit a branch with an ID card and your card with you, fill out the point use application form, and then, you can get cash back as the ratio of 1 point to 1 VND.

- Points cannot be used for a member, whose payment is delinquent.

18. What is an VIP SVB member?

- An SVB VIP member is selected, based on SVB transaction records. The selected SVB VUP members receive various and additional benefits. The SVB VIP members are chosen at each year-end, and are renewed, if they meet criteria set forth by SVB in terms of transaction records. Major benefits include SMS fee exemption, etc.  

19. How can I change the card password?  

- You can visit a branch and enter the password in the PIN-PAD, or you can change using an SVB ATM machine or phone banking service.

 

Consumer international credit card

1. What is a credit card?

- A credit card is a means to settle payment instead of using cash. Settling payment with a credit card means that you do not have to pay in cash upon purchasing goods/services. The Shinhan Vietnam Bank pays the purchase amount to the merchant in advance, and the member can settle his/her payment later. Using the credit card, the member can receive cash advance service within the cash advance limit.

- A member can also settle payment using a revolving payment system through the consumer credit card. For example, a member does not settle the full balance monthly for the credit card payment amount, but he/she can only pay the designated ratio of the payment amount.  However, the payment amount requested monthly must be settled by the payment due date.

2. What can I do with the credit card?

- A member can purchase goods and services at international brand merchants in Vietnam and worldwide.

- A member can receive cash advance service within the cash advance limit awarded to the member using the SVB ATM and international brand  ATM machines.

- When a member requests ATM function, cash withdrawal is possible from a designated account through the SVB ATM and VISA ATM machines.

- E-commerce transactions can be used using the VBV (Verified By Visa). (limited to VISA card).

3. What types of cards are there?

- A Visa Gold credit card can be issued.

4. What qualification is required for credit card issuance?

- SVB credit card can be issued on credit or on collateral of savings/deposit. If you are an 18-year-old or older domestic resident or foreigner having a bank account at Shinhan Vietnam Bank and you meet SVB card issue criteria. (Supplementary card can be issued to individuals designated by the primary member to parents, spouse and children who are over age of 16)

- The collateral-secured card can be issued, when deposit at SVB is put up as collateral.

- A credit card can be issued, if your credibility calculated through your occupation, tenure of office, income credit status, assets, etc. meet our qualification criteria.

- For further details on card issue, visit the nearest SVB branch or call.

5. How can I apply for a card?

- Visit the nearest SVB branch with member application form (Print out on the Internet or receive it by visiting a branch) and necessary documents and a photo (3x4) with you and apply for the card you wish to use.

- A member having no SVB account, should fill out the account application form to open the account.

- The attached documents to apply for a card are as follows:

  • Member and residence confirmation documents: A copy of ID card, permanent residential book or a copy of KT3.

  •             ▪ Foreigner: Passport, visa , foreigner’s residence certificate
  • Income earner’s income proof documents: Certificate of holding office, a copy of SVB income transfer account (recent 3 months)
  • Self-employed and professional’s income evidence documents : Tax Code certificate or business permit, a copy of recent year’s financial statements

6. How is credit limit awarded?

- For a credit card, total credit limit is provided between 0.5 and 2 times of member’s monthly payment capability, according to calculation standards set forth by SVB in consideration of member’s personal information, occupation, position, income and SVB transaction status.

- For a collateral-secured card, total credit limit is offered maximum 80% of deposit collateral put up by the member.

- For cash advance, up to 50% of the member’s total credit limit is offered.

7. After the card is issued, can I increase and reduce the card total credit limit?

- When you want to increase total credit limit, visit the nearest SVB branch, submit required documents, and request the increase of the total credit limit. Increase is possible, if you meet the card credit limit criteria set forth by SVB.

- Upon increase request of credit limit increase, fee can be charged.

- When a member wishes to reduce card total credit limit, visit the nearest SVB branch, and request the decrease.

- When there is member’s credit change, the credit limit may reduce, and thus you need to be careful about this.

8. How is card’s annual fee charged?

- We charge a certain amount of card annual fee for member management including card issue, dispatch of statement, etc.

- Annual fee is charged upon each card that a member possesses, and it is requested on the first payment due date after card issuance.

9. How can I receive the card I applied for?

- When you applied for a card, you are notified of the result of card issuance via SMS or telephone, after we screen your application. When the card is issued, visit the branch with an ID.

- You can receive the card visiting the branch, and filling out the card receipt form.

- You need to sign to the signature panel at the back of the card upon receipt of the card.

- Check card password written on the card holder, after receiving the card, and then change the password using SVB ATM machine or phone banking.

10. How can I use the card?

- Present the card after purchasing goods/services at a merchant, check whether the amount on the card transaction slip and the amount used match, and then sign as the signature panel.

- For cash withdrawal, you need to enter your password using SVB ATM or VISA ATM machine.

- For cash advance, you need to enter your password using SVB ATM or VISA ATM machine.

- Goods/services can be purchased using the service verified by VISA (VBV). (limited to VISA brand cards).

11. How long is card’s validity period?

- The longest validity period of a card is 3 years.

- For a collateral-secured card, according to the collateral period, the validity period can be set up to 3 years at longest.

12. What is credit grace period?

- The credit grace period means the period from the first day of your use of card to the day of settling transaction payment amount. We offer maximum 45-days credit grace period without additional interest burden.

- The credit grace period is the period that becomes the period of invoicing on member-designated payment due date.

- The credit grace period of a member, whose payment due date is every 5th day of a month, is from the 21st day of the two months before to the 20th day of the previous month. For a member whose payment due date is every 25th day of a month, the credit grace period is from the 11th day of the previous month to the 10th day of the current month.

13. How can I receive card statement?

- You can receive the card statement via mail or email, whichever you choose.

14. How can the transaction amount be settled?

- The payment settlement can be conducted by automatic transfer on the member-designated payment settlement date or you can make payment by visiting a branch.

- You can choose between the 5th or 25th of each month for payment settlement date.

- The card payment account can be only designated with SVB account. You can designate SVB Demand Deposit as your payment account.

- You can designate the payment account as USD account in addition to VND account. When you request it upon applying for a card or when you request it by visiting a branch, settlement currency can be changed.

15. What is revolving?

- Revolving payment mode is to settle payment monthly with a ratio of 5%, 10% or 20% designated by you with regard to purchase and cash advance that you have used. For the amount that you have used during the current month and non-paid balance during the previous month, you can pay only the ratio of the payment amount that you designated.

- For purchase, interest is charged from the goods/services next date of acquiring date to the payment due date. For cash advance, interest is charged from one day after the date that you received cash advance to the payment due date.

- You can choose between the revolving mode and full payment mode in which you make full payment on payment due date.

16. Where can I check Fee and Interest?

- Fee and Interest are provided in the card information upon receipt of a card. Also, you can check in the Fee and Interest category on our homepage

17. What happens, if the amount billed on the payment due date is not paid?

- When you do not settle payment amount billed on the payment due date, delinquency occurs. Late payment fee and interest is charged according to delinquency period.

- According to delinquency period and delinquency amount, your card usage can be suspended, and reduction in your card credit limit may take place under the standards set forth by SVB.

18. What is a family member card?

- Family card is issued to primary member’s parents, spouse and children with the primary member’s credit. Not only goods/services purchase within card credit limit, but cash withdrawal from ATM machines is possible.

- Family member card can be issued to the primary member-designated family members who are over 16 years old (parents, spouse and children and etc). Also, simultaneous issue for the primary member and family members, and exclusive issue for family members are possible. You can apply for the card visiting the nearest SVB branch with primary member confirmation and family relations documents (residence certificate, KT3).

- The transaction amount used with family member cards is billed to the primary member, and payment is made from the primary member’s payment account.

19. What is the fee for cash withdrawal made from ATM machine?

- When you applied for a ATM function, you can withdraw cash from an ATM machine and within your payment account balance, after entering your password on ATM machine.  

- Cash withdrawal fee and balance inquiry fee from SVB ATM is exempted, but for cash withdrawal and balance inquiry from other bank’s ATM, fee is charged under the standards set forth by SVB.

20. What is cash advance?

- Cash advance is a service which you can withdraw cash within your cash advance limit, and settle payment on payment due date.

- You can use the cash advance service at SVB ATMs or VISA ATMs. Enter your password, and then you can receive cash advance. Or you can visit SVB branch, fill out a cash advance application form, and then receive the cash advance.

- Cash advance processing fee is charged and cash advance interest is charged from the next day of transaction date to the payment due date.

21. How can I report lost/stolen card?

- When your card is lost or stolen, immediately visit the nearest SVB branch or use our phone banking or homepage to report the lost/stolen card.

- In the event you visit the nearest SVB branch, you need to fill out various report forms and submit them. When you use our phone banking or homepage, you need to log in by entering your SVB account number and password. After selecting your card, report your card has been lost/stolen.

- In the case of reporting your card’s being lost/stolen by phone banking, you need to remember your card No. to select the card you possess.

- Be sure to check whether there is data that you have never used, when reporting your card’s being lost/stolen, and if you find such a transaction(s), you need to report the accident visiting a branch within 7 days.

22. How can my card be renewed?

- When your card validity date is 3 months before expiration, if you visit branch with an ID card and documents required for issuing new credit card, upon screening, we will renew your card. (However, due to your credit rating change and delinquency, renewal card’s credit limit adjustment or issuance can be rejected)

- When you receive renewal information, visit a branch with an ID card and documents required for card renewal with you.

- What card-related business can be done by visiting a branch?

- The card-related business offered to you at an SVB branch include the following: Various inquiries (card credit limit, use, statement, payment details, points, etc.), card issue application, password change, card statement reprint, payment information change, settlement of payment amount, paying payment amount in advance, card credit limit adjustment application, accident report, etc.

- When you visit a branch, be sure to bring an ID card and your card for confirmation of member identification.

23. What card-related business can be done by visiting a branch? 

- The card-related business offered to you at an SVB branch include the following: Various inquiries (card credit limit, use, statement, payment details, points, etc.), card issue application, password change, card statement reprint, payment information change, settlement of payment amount, paying payment amount in advance, card credit limit adjustment application, accident report, etc. 

- When you visit a branch, be sure to bring an ID card and your card for confirmation of member identification.

24. What services are available with phone banking?

- SVB operates phone banking operating 24 hours a day for member’s convenience and prompt card-related business.The phone banking number is 1900-5656-80.

- To use the phone banking service, you need to connect with phone banking using your bank account number and password, and then to re-set the phone banking password.

- The available services using phone banking is card credit limit inquiry, password change, reporting of lost/stolen card, etc.

25. What is Shinhan Point Program?

- When an SVB member uses a card, Shinhan points are accumulated, and they are returned in cash. This is a differentiated service of SVB. Through the SVB Point Program, you can get cash back equivalent to your accumulated points.

Major benefits include annual fee exemption for Gold and Classic grades, SMS fee exemption, etc.  

28. Is it possible to change the payment due date?  

- When you want to change the payment due date, it is possible if you visit a branch with an ID card, fill out and submit various application forms.  

- The payment due date will be changed for all cards you possesses.  

- When payment is in the process of being billed, or delinquent, or if change was made in last 6 months, the payment due date change is impossible.

29. What is installment payment conversion service?

- This is the service through which you can change purchase, which was used domestically and internationally, to installment payment, so that you can pay the transaction amount using installment payment.

- Visit the branch with an ID card with you, fill out various application forms, and you can register for conversion.

- The minimum amount for conversion to installment payment is 1 million VND, and the installment period can be designated between 3 to 12 months. The installment payment interest rate is the same as revolving payment interest rate.

- The revolving payment mode does not apply to transaction amount conversation to installment payment.

30. How can I change card password?  

- You can visit a branch and enter the password in the PIN-PAD, or you can change the password using an SVB ATM machine or phone banking service.

 

Corporate international credit/debit card

1. What can I do with an SVB corporate card?

- You can buy goods/services at international brand merchants in Vietnam and worldwide.  

- E-commerce transactions can be used using the service VBV (Verified By Visa)

- Effective execution and management of corporate expenses are possible.  

2. What types of corporate cards are there?  

- A Visa Gold corporate credit card and a Visa Classic corporate debit card can be issued.

- For corporate credit card, corporation name card or staff member name card can be issued. The former does not designate a user, and it can be used within the corporate credit limit. The latter designates a specific staff to use the card.  

3. What are qualifications for corporate card issuance?

- SVB corporate credit card can be issued on credit or on the collateral of savings/deposit. The corporate credit card is issued if you are a corporate organization/institution having a Shinhan Vietnam Bank account meeting certain card issue criteria set forth by SVB.

- A collateral-secured card can be issued, when a corporation puts up savings/deposit at Shinhan Vietnam Bank as collateral.   

- A credit card can be issued when a corporation meets the screening criteria set forth by SVB, after screening in consideration of corporation’s establishment purpose, credit rating, financial situation, future growth, etc.

4. How can I apply for the card?

- A person in charge of the corporate card should visit SVB with card application form (Print out on the Internet or receive it by visiting a branch), corporation confirmation documents set forth by SVB, corporation’s financial statements, a letter of attorney, CEO’s ID card or original copy of passport, delegators’ ID card or original copy of passport with the person to apply for the corporate card.

- A corporation having no SVB account should fill out a corporate bank account application form to open the SVB account.

- The attached documents to apply for the card are as follows:

  • Corporation confirmation documents: Tax code certificate, investment permit or business permit, registered corporate seal and reported seal, articles of incorporation and etc
  • Corporate financial documents: Financial statements for the recent 3 years

5. How is the corporate credit card’s credit limit awarded?

- A corporate credit card’s credit limit is decided according to corporation’s credit rating, financial situation, future growth and the criteria set forth by SVB.

- For a collateral-secured card, total credit limit is offered at maximum 80% of deposit collateral put up by the corporate member.

- The corporate card’s credit limit is managed by total credit limit of the corporate card. Although each department’s total credit limit can exceed corporate credit limit, the transaction amount cannot exceed the total corporate credit limit.

- Although credit limit is not set for the corporate cards belonging to each department, the transaction amount cannot exceed the credit limit of each department.

- When you want credit limit to be charged on each card, the person in charge of the corporate card should visit a branch and request it.

6. How is the corporate debit card’s credit limit awarded?

- There is maximum credit limits in purchase and cash withdrawal. The change of credit limit can be made, when a member visits SVB branch and requests so.

- The purchase payment limit of a corporate Classic debit card is 20 million VND per day, and cash withdrawal limit is 10 million VND per day and 2 million per transaction. When you request the increase of purchase payment limit, it can increase to 30 million VND per day. When you request the increase in cash withdrawal limit, it can go up to 20 million VND per day and 3 million VND per transaction.

7. How much is the annual fee of a card?

- We charge a certain annual fee to manage corporate members including card issue and card statement dispatch, etc.

- Annual fee is charged on each corporate card, and it is billed on the first payment due date, after a card is issued.

- Annual fee is not charged on a corporate debit card.

8. Is cash withdrawal or cash advance possible with corporate cards?

- Cash withdrawal and cash advance are not available for the corporate cards.

9. How can I use a corporate card?

- After a corporate member purchases goods/services at a merchant, the person presents the corporate card. After the member checks whether transaction amount on the card transaction slip and actual transaction amount match, the member needs to sign in the signature panel of the slip.

- After SVB authorized through the Internet, the goods/services can be purchased. (limited to VISA brand cards).

10. How can I receive the card for which I have applied?

- When you have applied for a corporate card, we notify you of the result via telephone, after screening qualification. When the card is issued, the person in charge of the corporate card visits a branch carrying an ID card and corporation confirmation documents.

- You receive the card after filling out the card receipt form by visiting a branch.

- Upon receipt of the card, sign in the signature panel at the back of the card. Write down corporation’s name for the corporation name card, while the staff signs for the staff member name card in the name of staff.

- Check the card password written on the card holder, after receiving the card.Coming to SVB branches, change the password.

11. How long is the validity period of a card?

- The validity period of a corporate credit card is 3 years. It is 5 years for a corporate debit card.

12. What is credit grace period of a corporate credit card?

- The credit grace period means the period from the first day of your use of card to the day of settling payment amount. SVB offers maximum 45 days of credit grace period without additional interest.

- The credit grace period is the period that becomes the period of invoicing on member-designated payment due date designated by the corporate member.

14. How can the transaction amount of a corporate credit card be settled?

- Payment of transaction amount can be automatically transferred on the payment due date designated by the corporate member or the payment can be paid by visiting a branch.

- Payment due date can be selected by department: 5th and 25th of each month. However, the payment due date of the same department’s corporate cards cannot be designated differently.

- The payment account of a card can be opened with only SVB. The SVB demand deposit can be designated as a payment account. However, the payment account of the same department’s corporate cards cannot be designated differently.

- Designation as a USD account in addition to a VND account is possible. Settlement currency change can be made by your request, after visiting a branch or when applying for a corporate card.

- Only a full payment mode for the transaction amount of a corporate card is possible. That is, the corporate member, who needs to pay transaction amount during the credit grace period, should make full payment on the payment due date.

15. How can transaction amount payment of a corporate debit card be made?

- The amount is immediately withdrawn from the corporate payment account designated at the time of applying for the corporate debit card.

- In the case of a USD account, TT buying exchange rate on the goods/services purchase date shown on the transaction slip applies.

- Unauthorized transactions or various fees are withdrawn on the payment due date designated by the corporate member: either 5th or 25th of each month.

- When a member did not pay card payment on the payment due date, and when balance in the payment account is insufficient, it is processed as late payment. Late payment interest rate same as that of credit card.

17. What happens when the billed amount is not paid on the payment due date?

- When you do not pay the billed amount on the payment due date, late payment occurs. Late payment fee and interest is charged according to delinquency period.

- According to delinquency period and amount your card usage can be suspended, and reduction in your card credit limit may take place under the standards set forth by SVB.

18. How can I report my card’s being lost/stolen?

- When a corporate card is lost/stolen, the person in charge of the corporate card visits the nearest branch or use our phone banking or homepage and reports the card’s being lost/stolen.

- By visiting the nearest SVB branch, you can fill out and submit various application forms. When using the homepage, the person in charge of the corporate card logs in with corporate account No. and password and selects the card to report lost/stolen. When using phone banking, you can enter card No. and report card’s being lost/stolen.

- When card’s being lost/stolen is reported using phone banking, you must enter the lost card No., therefore, the person in charge of the corporate card should possess the details of the card including the card No..

- Check whether there are transactions that the corporation did not use in the case of card’s being lost/stolen, and when such transactions are found, report the accident visiting a branch within 7 days.

19. How can I renew the corporate card?

- When your card validity date is 3 months before expiration, if department card manager visits branch with an ID card and documents required for issuing new credit card, upon screening, we will renew your card. (However, due to your corporate credit rating change and delinquency, renewal card’s credit limit adjustment or issuance can be rejected)

20. What card-related business can be offered at SVB branch?

- The card-related business offered to a corporate member at SVB branch includes the following: Various inquiries (credit limit, use, claim, payment details, points, etc.), card issue application, password change, card statement reprint, payment information change, settlement of payment amount, settling payment amount in advance, card credit limit adjustment application, accident report, etc.

- For corporate card, various reporting operations are conducted by department, so the person in charge of the corporate card visits a branch with an ID card and corporation confirmation documents for request.

21. What is Shinhan Point Program?

- When an SVB member uses a card, Shinhan points are accumulated, and they are returned in cash. This is a differentiated service of SVB. Through the SVB Point Program, you can received cash back equivalent to your accumulated points.

- Points are accumulated under the standards set forth by SVB by card product on domestic and international transactions and etc.

- Effective period of points is 3 years, and the points will expire from 3 years after accumulation in a first-in, first-out manner. When you terminate the membership, the unused points will also expire.

- The points for a corporate card are accumulated with regard to total transaction amount used with the corporation name card and staff member name card.

22. What can I do with the points?

- The points accumulated by a corporate member can be returned in cash, if the member requests so.

- The minimum amount qualified for cash back is 15,000 VND. A person in charge of the corporate card visits a branch with an ID card and corporation confirmation documents, and fill out and submit the point use application form. Cash back is made with 1 VND per point.

- A corporate member, whose payment is in delinquent, cannot use the points.

23. How can I use the homepage for corporate members?

- Regarding corporate members, a person, designated as the person in charge of SVB corporate member homepage, can use it. After logging in through corporate account No. and password, the corporate member can use the homepage.

- Through the homepage, the member information inquiry, card details inquiry, transaction data inquiry and reporting of card’s being lost/stolen can be conducted.
